It's Dawie di Kaboutertjie! Or David the Gnome if you're nor Afrikaans. The Secret Book of Gnomes, written by Wil Huygenand illustrated by Rien Poortvliet was a childhood favourite of mine, so when I saw this clip I was like "oooh!" Of course, it used up of the change I needed for the bus home, and when I tried to take money from my account, I forgot my PIN and voided my account. So after leaving at 8.40, I got home at 3.00, (a TWO hour journey PEOPLE!!)
But I do think he is a gnome of cheering up goodness rather than one of misfortune, as, while his expenditure caused my delayed journey, I still cheered up every time I saw him (the whole screwing up my bank stuff had me on a downer suprisingly enough)
